Lara Returns This Christmas

In a financial release issued Monday, Eidos Interactive announced intentions to release another installment in the Tomb Raider series for the PlayStation and the PC platforms in time for Christmas this year. While no details were revealed on what to expect from the game, fans of the series will no doubt be excited to hear that a fifth installment in the series will hit stores this year.

According to Eidos, the Tomb Raider series has now sold more than 20 million units (including 3.5 million for the latest version, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation).

Dreamcast and the Game Boy Color titles based on the Tomb Raider series are slated for release this spring.
