Last Chance To Grab 6 Free Batman Games On PC

This week, it's all about the Dark Knight.

Another week, another round of free games at the Epic Games Store. This week, two collections of Batman games are up for grabs: the Batman Arkham Collection and the Lego Batman Trilogy. That's a total of six free games for Epic Store users, and they're free to claim now until September 26. If you're unfamiliar with Epic's weekly freebies, all you need is a free Epic account to claim them, and they'll be yours to keep forever--no subscription of any kind needed.

The Batman Arkham Collection includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight, the latter of which is also a PS Plus free game this month. The first two games are fully remastered with updated visuals as part of the collection, and all post-launch content is included. The Batman Arkham series is critically acclaimed, with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City both earning a 9/10 and Arkham Knight receiving a 7/10 from GameSpot.

The Batman Lego Trilogy is also free for the next week. The Trilogy Pack includes Lego Batman: The Videogame, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, and Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Similar to the other Lego video games, the Batman games allow for both single-player and two-player co-op, and you'll play as iconic Batman characters while fighting enemies and solving puzzles.

You can claim the Batman Arkham Collection and Batman Lego Trilogy free for the next week. They'll be replaced by the next round of free games, Everything and Metro: 2033 Redux, on September 26.

When they said epic, they really meant EPIC!!!!!!!

I love the Epic Store.

What did I get from Steam in the past 6 months? A bunch of crappy sales where they jack the retail price up first overnight and then discount the game back down to the original price for the sale. You need to do better GaBeN.

@jsprunk:

Yep! Gone are the days of Steam having the best sales. PlayStation sales are actually way WAY better these days and happen pretty much constantly!

@shuttle_cock: Come to think it, you’re absolutely right. The only games I bought this year were PS4 games during one of the sales, aside from preordering Days Gone BL3.

My "COMMENT" about the 'FREE' games on EPIC------i been 'getting the free games SINCE LAST THANXGIVING' AT ONE TIME IT was a 'free' game every 2 weeks...then it went to 'every week' so right now i have about (this include BATMAN) ABOUT "50 games..........so now my only issue is will i have 'enough' disk space on my computer to install the game.......and when i contacted 'epic' they told me 'when i obtain a free game---its mine to KEEP for ever---so i have a large collection of epic game---I just need 'disk space' on my computer and make sure i 'never have an issue' with my epic game account and 'the 1st week in jan (the 1st game in january, i get from epic' i am going to keep a 'list' of the game so see if i realy get '52' free games---<52 weeks, a free game every week-52 free games...........i just wonder one thing.......will i obtain the entire 'epic game lib' (some day) and the only thing i need to DO is 'log on" one other thing...i know we are on the subject about free games there is another sight---called "GOG" they have free game too so i check them out----so many free games, so little disk space :(

@doomsdayhell01: UPLAY need a 'credit card/debit card'...……..I am WI FI that is the "GOOD" thing...…..the bad thing is that since I have an "OPEN" connection, and its free, If I use a cc/dc, it very easy for any one to see what 'credit card/debit card' number I type if I had an a e card-------that is reason 1====reason 2, I been told that giving cc/dc info ON LINE IS 'NOT SAFE' EVEN IF IT SAY its a protected connection...…….so now I am 'stuck' with no access on uplay------------hopefuly they 'give in' and have those pre paid cards (like apple did for iTunes---------pay 15 bucks for a card, type in the 'key' on the back...and your money is usable ' at that very moment...…….AND NO CC/DC billing info is 'ever type---and I found one other way to 'get free games' but I am NOT posting it because it may get me BANNED from game spot---but thank for telllling me

I give Epic credit for cranking out the free games - with a lot of them being genuinely great titles - but...if they put even half as much effort into building a decent client as they do into helping people build their game libraries, they might actually give Steam a run for their money.

1st of all Lego games are bad because it we 'almost' got a playable Batman/DC game..

Even my wife & daughter think Lego games are lame/boring.

***And now I own Arkham Games/ReturnTo Arkham on EVERY platform.

Xbox,PS4,Steam and now this..

*I woulda rathered have Arkham Origins since I barely played it & was impressed with TroyBaker's

voice acting...

**I got Arkham Origins 2 weeks before I got a PS4 and thus played it for like 1 day and have missed it since..

*Arkham Origins on PC/Steam~~ talk about a pain in butt to get it running without purple screen HardCrashes..

But I got it going and have been enjoying it..

**Why didn't Rocksteady make a Batman with the DC/Justice league as villains or whatevs???

Spiderman was 1/10th the fun of Arkham games..

Get it done WB or Rocksteady

@sippio: Trying to make something good sound bad with your lame boring crap. Those are good games and Steam would not be giving you 6 free games of any kind good or boring.

Some of the info stated in this article is incorrect. Asylum and City are not "fully remastered with updated visuals." They're the exact same games you can get from Steam. The only way to get the remastered versions is to buy "Arkham Collection" on PS4 and Xbox One, sadly.

@crashchaos: The game description says you are wrong. The Arkham Collection is available on PC as well, and this it it.

"Batman Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition

Critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum returns with a remastered Game of the Year Edition"

@gunnyninja: Actually, that description has always been there for the GOTY edition. It's referring to the fact that it has 4 new challenge maps. The version with the graphical upgrades is not on the PC.

@gunnyninja: I tested it myself last night. I actually installed the EGL version of Asylum and it's still the same old version. It is most definitely not the PS4/Xbox One version.

@crashchaos: I'll take your word for that. I wouldn't play it on a console, so I'll never see those.

@gunnyninja: I wish it was the remastered version. :( I don't know why they came out with it on the consoles but not the PC when they easily could do so.

All three Rocksteady Arkham games? That's a real good freebie if you don't already own them.
