Latest Assassin's Creed Movie Clip Delivers Thrilling Desert Action
Carriage chase.
A new clip has been released from the adaptation of the Assassin's Creed game series. Unlike the one revealed last week, this is an action-packed scene involving swords, whips, horses, and a thrilling desert chase. Check it out below:
Another Assassin's Creed video was released this week, focusing on the virtual reality time travel machines the Animus. Titled "The Science of the Animus," it shows stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard talking about how the machines work and why they think it's cool. Watch it here.
Assassin's Creed is directed by Justin Kurzel (Macbeth), and also stars Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, and Michael Kenneth Williams.
In a recent interview with Empire, Fassbender spoke about playing a darker, more ambiguous lead role. "It's not like Star Wars, where you've got the light side and the dark side," he said. "This is very ambiguous morally. Both of these parties--the Templars and the Assassins--are hypocritical at certain points. There are not clear-cut good and bad characters.
"I think it's a little more provocative for an audience to see that. You know, 'Should I be feeling that? Should I be backing this character?' That's always fun."
Assassin's Creed hits theaters on December 21, 2016.
