League of Legends College Tournament Sees Teams Battling for $660,000 in Scholarship Money
32 schools will battle it out for a major scholarship prize pool.
Starting this weekend, the University League of Legends Campus Series will kick off--with 32 different schools from the U.S. and Canada duking it out for a scholarship prize pool of nearly $660,000. Since the money will be split among the five players on a team, the winning team will receive $30,000 each, the runner-up will receive $15,000 each, and third/fourth place will receive $7500 each.
The tournament will be divided into four conferences: North, East, South, and West.
The tournament begins on Saturday, January 16, starting off with RMU vs. Michigan State.
