Limbo, Inside Dev Teases Next Game
Outside.
Playdead, the developer of hit indie games Limbo and Inside, has teased its next game.
From the image, it looks as if we'll be heading either into space or to the top of a mountain. A shooting star can be seen in the background, while the (presumed) protagonist can be seen wearing what looks to be a space or flight helmet. Take a look for yourself below.
Thanks for your warm reception of INSIDE. Since release, Playdead founder Arnt Jensen and the team have been working on the next adventure. pic.twitter.com/RfejnH39mR

The aesthetic is dark and atmospheric--which will come as no surprise to those who played the developer's first two games. No other details were shared, unfortunately.
Both Limbo and Inside were critically acclaimed, and much-loved by fans. We loved Limbo here at GameSpot, with critic Kevin VanOrd awarding it an 8/10. It's now on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, which is nice. For more on the monochromatic platformer, check out our full Limbo review.
Inside, meanwhile, released in 2016, also receiving a GameSpot 8/10. We also placed it in our top 10 games of the year.
