Link's Awakening Character Marin Coming to Hyrule Warriors as DLC
Character from the 1993 game will be available this summer in Link's Awakening Pack.
Last week, we learned a lot about the DLC coming to Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS) and Hyrule Warriors (Wii U), but Nintendo didn't give everything away. This weekend, the company announced that Marin from 1993's Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is coming to Hyrule Warriors for 3DS and Wii U.
She'll be available in the Link's Awakening Pack, which comes to the games this summer. In addition to Marin, this add-on includes 16 new My Fairy costume pieces, a new Adventure Mode map, and a new weapon for Linkle.
The Link's Awakening Pack is just one of many expansions coming to Hyrule Warriors for 3DS and Wii U. You can check out GameSpot's previous coverage for a full rundown of all the post-launch content.
This announcement was made during a Hyrule Warriors panel at this weekend's WonderCon event. Yosuke Hayashi and Hiroya Usuda from developer Koei Tecmo appeared on the panel and shared some other interesting information about the game. See the tweets below for more.
Hyrule Warriors was released in 2014 for Wii U, with the 3DS version--Legends--coming out in January 2016 in Japan and March in the west. For more, check out GameSpot's reviews below.
