Lock On: Modern Air Combat slips
Ubi Soft announces that its upcoming flight simulator will now ship in the summer. New screens inside.
Ubi Soft has announced via the official Lock On Web site that the game, which was originally scheduled for release last year, will ship in the summer. Apparently, the release has been pushed back because the game simply isn't finished yet.
Ubi Soft also updated its information pertaining to the game's minimum system requirements, although it seems reasonable to assume that these are still subject to change. The current minimum system requirements are as follows: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
Pentium III 800/AMD Athlon 600 or better
256MB RAM (512MB RAM recommended)
3D video card (DirectX 8.1 compatible) with 32MB RAM (128MB recommended)
Sound card (DirectX 8.1 compatible)
DirectX 8.1 or higher (included on disc)
4X CD-ROM or better (not recommended for use with CD-RWs)
Internet connection (56kbps or better) or LAN for multiplayer
1.1GB hard drive space
Lock On: Modern Air Combat is a flight simulator in which players will get to fly modern aircraft from both Russia and the US in more than 35 different scenarios. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
