Meh. Until streaming gets better, I just can't. Like I can't even hop onto my Series X and run a game off the cloud via Game Pass. It sucks as an experience. I don't know how they fix the lag in the controls which murders the experience for me. Even if the controls are only lagging by 50-100ms, it's still a shit experience versus running the game off the hardware.

Feels like the market is too flooded and they're late to the game.

Could have made this thing completely redundant by just putting a 1080p display on the Steam Deck.

FXR and other upscaling methods would allow games to run at lower res and still look fine, while streamed games and video content would look much better

Posting before Logitech's handheld business goes under...

I'm sure an Android tablet is totally worth the same as a Switch OLED or a Steamdeck.

It's the same Snapdragon chip as Samsung A50 phones from almost 3 years ago.

Also, WIFI-only streaming in 2022 with WIFI5 support only? Sounds like a great move.

Why would you not just get a Kishi for your phone or a Retroid Pocket 3 for like $50 or $129 and have access to easy emulation, too?

@faithxvoid: Yeah. It may be smaller but I'll stick with streaming my games to my phone and just use an Xbox controller when I need to.

Cloud gaming is definitely the future, but it ain't here yet. Only a small demographic of users with lightning internet can really enjoy a product like this

@dominicwow: Anecdotally, not sure that's true. Over the past couple years I've lived in 6 different houses and apartments in different parts of my state, none of which I selected for their internet service, but they all turned out to have internet fast enough for Stadia and Xbox Cloud to work pretty much flawlessly. And this is despite the closest Microsoft data centers being hundreds of miles away.

Sure, not everywhere has good enough internet for streaming, but service that's capable of it might be more widespread than you think

@Spartan_418: Can confirm that it's not bandwidth requirements that hold most streaming experiences back. It's mostly latency and packet loss.

I can't get Gamepass or even Moonlight to hold a reliable stream via WIFI on my over 300mbps, but wired was no problem last year when they were only giving me 100mbps.

@faithxvoid: Low latency which is already needed just for regular online multiplayer to work well, never mind streaming.

Have you tried streaming a game on your phone over 4G or 5G service? Might find that works well even if your home wifi doesn't
