Marvel has confirmed that Loki is the most-watched Marvel TV show on Disney+. Marvel boss Kevin Feige made the announcement during Disney's upfronts this week, according to Deadline.

He said Loki was a "bold swing" for the company, adding that the "wild ride paid off." Production on Season 2 will begin the next few weeks, Feige said. Loki is the first Marvel series on Disney+ to get picked up for a second season.

Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, is returning for Season 2 alongside the rest of the main cast. Feige confirmed that Loki is the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+ so far, but he did not share any specific viewership numbers or data points. We also don't know what show was previously the most-watched.

Other Marvel TV series on Disney+ include WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and What If...? The next one is Ms. Marvel, which premieres June 8.

Also at Disney's upfronts presentation this week, the company released the first trailer for the newest Marvel TV series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Tatiana Maslany plays Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk in the series where she works on special superhuman legal cases. It premieres August 17.

As for Marvel movies, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness just passed $700 million at the global box office, becoming the 16th Marvel film to reach that milestone.

It destroyed the MCU, and it was a mega bait and switch. Come think of it most MCU shows were like that.

I liked it, very well done. I would say between Owen and Hiddleston star power did most of the heavy lifting. I am amazed that Hawkeye wasn't bigger than..., considering Steinfield, Jeremy Renner, and Pugh's big star power didn't bring in more. All of these actors got less time hitting junkets to promote their TV series because of Covid. Glad those shows got made, a fun watch.

I wonder why... Maybe because it's the only show that had a major MCU tie-in? All the other shows are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Wow, it’s easily my least favorite.

Different strokes for different folks.
