Looking Glass Technologies Bought?

Unconfirmed reports circulated Tuesday that an acquisition of Looking Glass Technologies by Intemetrics, a high-end information systems software developer based in Cambridge, Mass., was imminent.

When contacted, Intemetrics Chairman and CEO Michael Alexander had no comment.

In addition to developing online infrastructure for Engage Games' network, Intemetrics has built high-end helicopter and astronaut simulations for the military. The company has expressed a desire to develop games for the N64, but it has not announced any titles.

Looking Glass has reportedly been looking for prospective buyers since last fall. The company's most anticipated title is Flight Unlimited 2, due out in October.
