Lost Planet 2 landing May 18, to have Gears of War character skins

for ps3 or xbox?

Wonder if they will have any more characters from Resident Evil, Leon and or Chris would be cool. Can't forget Clair or Jill either.

@Amz1217 uh, Benjamin mentioned he had 3 brothers, thats 4 carmine brothers, making only 2 dead, leaving 2 for the 3rd game, he also said they all enlisted in the COGS. so no, they aren't all dead, only 2 of them are.

Gears is a great franchise and lost planet is not the greatest of Capcom s franchises. I guess they are trying to boost an average game. I love Capcom but please don t ruin a good thing. I mean Gears don t ruin my Gears. More Gears of war titles not guest appearances. Peace.

They will have chinsaw gun or just skin. Also they should do something like this with PS3 Version.

I found the first too arcadish but I'll look into this one. Army of Two 40th Day is great, and I really didn't enjoy the first one.

Well a PC version is pretty much guaranteed to come out at some point. Hell the first builds of the game previewed to press were running on PCs........and considering (AFAIK) the PC version of Lost Planet was a success critically and in sales, there's no reason not to release it for PC!

I think this is an excellent idea. everyone who says they are just trying to get more sales all i have to say is 'obviously!'. But to say they need more sales because the last game was horrible???...um u might want to check some numbers on sales u might have missed couple zeros... sh*t Lost Planet Colonies is still being played even though its an elite crowd and noobs that just want to boost for the characters..but... this game is going to be off the chain...customize ur own guy/equipment/taunt.. secret characters or dlc i guess (gears/wesker) and 4 player copo with a huge story..man..and we i didnt even include the revamped multiplayer!...

I hope this is one of those games that blows it's predecessor out the freakin' water...

Gears Of War in Lost Planet 2 also in the PS3s version... because than it would have show the XBOX 360 thing at the end

I thought the first Lost Planet was terrible... I borrowed it for like 1 night, played it as much as i could stomach (about 4 hours) waiting for it to get good but couldn't find any merit to it. I really hope they pick up the pace a bit with the sequal as it's a great concept.

So whose in the PS3 version?...oh wait, as usual, probably no one...

Add Cole and General RAAM, then we're talkin'. Who doesn't want to see General RAAM murdering a giant bug?

Even though I really like the idea of other characters from other games (and gaming companies) appearing in different games we all know why Dom and Marcus (and wesker) are in the game....because the game sucks we all played the demo and it ruined any if all hype for the game the controls still suck and the co-op is horrible and the game didn't feel right and trust me I know for a fact they didn't change that much from when the demo launched till now...sighh but hopefully there will be more video game cross overs in the future

Lost Planet 1 was fun. But part 2 is being streamlined into a multiplayer game, sigh. Well see how it turns out.

I guess Lost Planet and Gear of War take place in the same universe, same solar system at the same time. I wonder who's tougher, the GoW2 guys or the LostPlanet2 guys.

I have to try out the demo, but I always wanted to play the 1st one. Looks like this one will be better so a pre order is possible :)

Weird how they chose Marcus and dom, cool though and it would look a whole hell of a lot better than putting some of their other capcom characters like Ryu or Viewtiful Joe

Maybe there will be a never before seen trailer of Gears 3 with the game. Either way, I'm buying this

Got it pre ordered. I really enjoyed the first and the demo looks like they have improved upon the mechanics to make it more like a sci fi monster hunter in some ways :)

im already getting this strictly because of the co-op online play. i hope they dont stop with the list of guest appearences. would like to see some ps3 skins like the helgast from killzone2 or snake from mgs.

Never been interested in lost planet, but when you mention the great Marcus fenix and Dom santiago making an appearence than i may have to check this out. Although I'd much rather see the characters in Gears of War 3.

they're probably focusing on the X360 content because the X360 version sold just over 1.8 million copies alone, while the PS3 version sold just under half a million

@FaintRain they just made an appearance in this game, I hope its not gonna be that they show them, then be like "well you not gonna play as them" thats like having Batman movie, and when you come, they show Barnie lol

So if the 360 gets Dom and Marcus, will the PS3 get Nathan Drake and Cole McGrath? pretty awesome to throw in Gears of War characters into Lost Planet 2.
