LucasArts announces RTX Red Rock
The first of LucasArts' pre-E3 announcements is here.
LucasArts made the first of its many pre-E3 game announcements today, unveiling RTX Red Rock, a third-person action adventure game scheduled to hit the PlayStation 2 and GameCube next year.
The game places the player in the role of Eugene Zeno "E.Z." Wheeler, one of the government's best radical tactics experts. The government inserts Wheeler into the Red Rock colony on Mars, which has been overtaken by aliens. The gameplay hook is that Wheeler is part machine, and his right arm can be altered to function as a grappling hook, a taser, a grenade launcher, and so on.
The game is currently scheduled to feature 10 single-player levels, as well as a two-player multiplayer mode with racing, capture the flag, and battle options. RTX Red Rock is scheduled to hit the PS2 and GameCube next spring. For more information, check out our
