LucasArts Names Online Role-Playing Games

LucasArts Entertainment has announced the brand name for its upcoming series of online role-playing games. The series will be called Star Wars Galaxies, and an official information Web site will be launched tomorrow at www.starwarsgalaxies.com. The Web site will feature a list of frequently asked questions, community message boards, and other information about upcoming Star Wars Galaxies games.

The Star Wars Galaxies games are being developed by Verant Interactive, and they are expected to undergo testing in late 2001. We'll have more information about the game series in the future.
