Madden 2003 ships
EA Sports ships the next game in its long-running series.
Electronic Arts has announced that it has shipped Madden NFL 2003 for the Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation, and Xbox. The Madden series started 13 years ago and has since sold 25 million copies, 4 million of which are Madden NFL 2002. New features in this year's game include a new play-by-play commentator (Al Michaels) and online play for the PlayStation 2 version of the game. Madden 2003 also features a number of new minigames, an in-depth franchise mode, and the ability to edit plays.
