Mandalorian Season 2 Trailer Has Arrived And WWE's Sasha Banks Is In It With Baby Yoda

Watch the new trailer for the upcoming season of the Disney+ show.

Star Wars fans have been patiently waiting for the next season of The Mandalorian to arrive on Disney+. Season 2 of the hit show hits the streaming service on October 30, and finally, we've got the first trailer for it.

The series follows the adventures of a titular bounty hunter named Din Djarin, but commonly called "The Mandalorian" or "Mando." Taking place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, Mando comes across a Force-sensitive child that's the same species as Yoda and decides to take care of it rather than kill it, after the Empire--what's left of it--placed a bounty on the child.

Now, Mando is escorting around this "Baby Yoda"--who isn't actually Yoda because Yoda is a magical Force Ghost at this point--and it looks like he is going to have to deal with the Empire and what's left of the Jedi Order in Season 2. Check out the trailer below.

Also, yes, there was finally some Gamorreon wrestling in a Star Wars product. The wait is finally over. But speaking of wrestling, WWE superstar Sasha Banks appears in the trailer as the mysterious person in the black robe at the 49-second mark. Will she be the boss of these--as Mando puts it--"enemy sorcerers"?

Banks isn't the only big name to make it into Season 2 of the Disney+ show. Terminator star Michael Biehn will reportedly play a bounty hunter, and it is rumored that Rosario Dawson may appear as Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series. It has also been reported that Clone Wars actor Katee Sackhoff will have a role in the season.

Additionally, a new poster was revealed for the upcoming season as well, which you can check out below.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian will arrive to Disney+ on October 30, and while we wait for the new season to land, check out some Easter eggs from Episode 8 and Episode 7 of Season 1.

As much as I liked season 1, I feel that Star Wars: The Clone wars season 7 ended the Star Wars saga for me. Star Wars under George Lucas brought me so much memorable joy with their games (Kotor, old Battlefront games, Rogue Sqaudron) and the iconic movies (my favorite is still Episode 1 despite the hate it gets). Star Wars had so much impact when I was younger that I couldn't properly enjoy any other sci-fi entertainment (Star Trek and Halo comes to mind) as they always felt severely underwhelming.

Disney's Star Wars just doesn't do it for me so I think it's best to just leave it at that.

@cboye18: I thought Rebels was great. First 1 and most of season 2 was pretty mediocre, but that can be applied to Clone Wars as well, both picked up towards the tail end of 2.

Same people who worked on Clone Wars with many of the same characters returning.

Siege Of Mandalore was undoubtedly the best thing since Empire Strikes Back. That shits a masterpiece.

Is this old news, or did they just make the Mandalorian Wars canon?

@v1ndictive: It's always been canon, and felt moreso than the crappy Sequels.

@v1ndictive: I could be wrong, but I thought they said all of this was always supposed to be canon.

Sweet. Last season was a fun ride and if you're not jonesin' for a new deluge of Baby Yoda memes, then you have no soul.

That looked alright. I imagine I'll have to re-sub to Disney+ once this comes out.

@mogan: I wonder how many people are doing the same? I ditched my subscription after I finished watching too.

Now...if they got Daredevil, The Punisher, etc. back up and running I would keep my subscription permanently...but right now there is really no reason to.

I believe Sasha Banks is playing Sabine Wren, who leaves with Ashoka Tano at the end of Rebels.

@uninspiredcup: Banks role is unknown as of right now. Sabine is only rumored to be in Season 2. It's all speculation.

However, I am 1000000000000000% behind Banks playing Wren.
