Mark Cuban Wants to Play League of Legends

Don't be surprised if you see the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks play a match of League of Legends at the Intel Extreme Masters San Jose next week.

Mark Cuban, billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks and judge on popular week night show Shark Tank has expressed desire to play in a showcase match of League of Legends at the Intel Extreme Masters taking place in San Jose. The showcase match will benefit Cyber Smile, a non-profit organization dedicated to anti-cyberbullying.

The Intel Extreme Masters has responded warmly to Cuban's tweet:

Since there hasn't been an official announcement made yet, it remains to be seen if Cuban will actually participate in the festivities.

The Intel Extreme Masters San Jose will take place next week on November 21 and 22. You can watch all the action take place on their Twitch channel.

playing for Cyber Smile, a non-profit organization dedicated to anti-cyberbullying in a game notorious for one of the most toxic of gaming communities. that sounds wonderful.

oh well, that mildly interesting tidbit aside, i agree with SyntaxKT's comment.

LoL isn't exactly a game you learn the first time you play it. It has a learning curve of several tens of hours. And if you really wanna get good at it let's talk about hundreds.

Cuban is a piece of $#!t greedy pig. The only reason he would show his face anywhere is because he smells money. Video games would be better off with out greedy corporate pigs.
