Marvel Rivals is shortening its seasons, which that, going forward, a new hero will be added to the roster once a month. This change will start with Season 3, which should start sometime in the July to August timeframe.

Announced in the Marvel Rivals Season 2 Dev Vision, starting with Season 3, Marvel Rivals seasons will be two months long instead of three, with heroes arriving at the start and midpoints of each season. This means that heroes will drop about once a month, adding new characters to the roster at a fast pace. For reference, Overwatch 2 seasons last a similar length, but new heroes are only added every 2-3 seasons, or about six months in between new heroes.

Season 2 of Marvel Rivals, which will see the addition of Emma Frost at launch on April 11 for a Hellfire Gala season, with Ultron arriving at the season midpoint, roughly six weeks from the start. Season 1 saw the addition of all four members of the Fantastic Four, but NetEase said that future seasons would only feature two new characters. A shorter season could also mean shorter battle passes, but NetEase said it would be sharing more details about any changes in the future.

The video also revealed that Season 2 will see the introduction of new color options for popular skins--although it wasn't clear if these would require an additional purchase--and the ability to gift skins to other players. It also revealed new team-ups, including one for Captain America and Winter Soldier, in addition to updates for older ones. A few being removed altogether, like the team-up for Thor, Captain America, and Storm. Season 2 of Marvel Rivals arrives on April 11.

Gambit when? :DDD

Marvel thinks even a person who has no relation to superhero stuff and who is not American at least know and cares about some random popular costumed dude but I don't. Long time ago in random X-Men SEGA Genesis game I got to know Gambit and I like the guy ever since which after long time later I learned this guy is a Marvel character and X-Men is actually adaptation of some comic, as this is pretty much same as Spiderman, yet what I recently learned is Gambit is not a popular character at all when I searched the whole Marvel video games and movies as most of them doesn't care Gambit exist. I still don't understand why Gambit doesn't exist in damn X-Men series when it has tons of movies and Gambit is an X-Men, dude. As a result there are tons of guys who are cringe but somehow popular therefore they are in video games and movies but not the one of the most decent one. I get they naturally play for their fanbase but it's not realistic to ignore people who is not Marvel fan who would be interested in your game and movie just because there is a decent guy like Gambit in it. For me most of these characters same shit, but not Gambit. He has his own cool vibe and TBH his existence seems better than all the popular characters combined. He is not dull like Spiderman and boring as Wolverine and rest of the X-Men BS and this is as far as I know about Marvel. Gambit is cool because he doesn't look like those costumed BS characters out of furry fantasy like dog-man, wolf-man and his design is not some random one-piece outfit that has some random letters or animal symbol and football-club like color design. Gambit's outfit is some cyberpunk stuff that's beyond the superhero costume design BS and he can kill people with damn cards without pretending to be some random animal lol.

Chop-chop, add Gambit to this rubbish game so finally we can play as Gambit, enough of these same old boring random superhero A and Bs BS like rubbish-man and worm-woman BS. :DDD

If you're going to reference overwatch, maybe fact check it first yeah? Seasons are 2 months, new hero every other season which means 4 months between new heroes not 6.
