There may be some of you out there who look at our coverage of gaming events such as this year's GDC and ask yourself, "Why can't I be there to play all the latest games, interview the biggest developers, and take a look at some mind-blowing game tech?"
Well, fear not, because the Movie Comic Media Expo is returning to London May 23-24, with a whole host of gaming goodness to be featured at the event. Previous years have seen the likes of massive games such as Street Fighter IV on show, and this year will see unreleased games such as Tekken 6, Ghostbusters, and Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce playable at the event. Other big publishers such as Eidos, Rising Star Games, and KOEI will also be there to demo new games.
Last year's event saw more than 30,000 attendees pass through its doors, with the MCM even attempting to break the world record for cosplay gathering, though without the help of our own GameSpot crew.
With attendance this year expected to be upwards of 35,000, a whole host of stands showcasing anime, comics, and movies, and appearances from Hollywood stars Tony Curtis and Linda Hamilton (of Terminator fame), the show looks set to be the biggest so far.
The MCM runs from May 23-24 at London's Excel centre. For more information on the Expo, check out the official site.
