Mega Man Anniversary Stream Announced For December 4
Capcom says fans "won't want to miss" the stream.
This month marks the 30th anniversary of the Mega Man series. While it's been quite a while since the Blue Bomber has starred in a new title, Capcom will commemorate the occasion with a special Mega Man Anniversary livestream.
The stream takes place this coming Monday, December 4, and begins at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. One hour prior to the stream, Capcom will air a "Streamer Showdown" pre-show that will feature trivia and guest appearances by streamer ProJared, speedrunner Usedpizza, and rapper Mega Ran. Viewers will also have a chance to win Mega Man prizes by tuning in.
Capcom hasn't divulged any details on what it will show during the livestream, aside from that it runs for an hour and fans "won't want to miss this celebration of the Blue Bomber's birthday." You can watch the stream on Capcom's Twitch channel.
Mega Man isn't the only Capcom franchise celebrating a big anniversary this year. The Street Fighter series also turned 30 in 2017. Capcom commemorated that milestone by releasing special DLC costumes for Street Fighter V. A set of nostalgic DLC outfits were also added to the fighting game recently.
