There's a pretty great Meta Quest 3 promotion running at Amazon and Best Buy this week. Meta's flagship VR headset comes with a $50 store gift card for a limited time. Though you won't receive an outright discount, the $50 credit to Amazon or Best Buy still makes this one of the best Meta Quest 3 deals of the year so far.

The gift card offer stacks with Meta's awesome promotion on the Quest 3 and 3S headsets. Until April 30, all Meta Quest 3 headsets include the exclusive game Batman: Arkham Shadow and a three-month subscription to Meta Quest+. All told, you'll wind up with seven free games to keep and a $50 gift card to spend on your next purchase at Amazon or Best Buy.

It's worth noting that Batman: Arkham Shadow and the Quest+ subscription are also bundled with new Quest 3S headsets until April 30. You won't get the $50 store credit, but the Quest 3S is markedly cheaper, with the 128GB model retailing for $300 and the 256GB model priced between the two at $400.

Meta Quest+ is a subscription program that regularly costs $8/month. It features a rotating library of games to play for free, but the big draw is the two freebies subscribers get each month. Free games will remain in your library even if you cancel your subscription.

In other virtual reality news, Sony's PlayStation VR 2 recently received a massive and permanent price drop. PlayStation slashed $200 off the PS5 and PC headset. The PSVR 2 is now only sold in a bundle with the Horizon Call of the Mountain, which is exclusive to PlayStation. You can get the PSVR 2 bundle for $400 at major retailers. If you want to play PC VR games, the official PSVR 2 PC adapter costs $60 and grants access to SteamVR when connected to a VR-capable PC.
