This is precisely why I wasn't too excited to hear that PS4 was coming out. my immediate thought was "It's not like they even use the current specs to capacity... what's the point really?"

I think it's safe to say the bump in processing power and other specs will have an effect on the visual fidelity of the games, to a noticeable extent. Like you said, maybe not quite the jump the last gen took, but I think you'd be wrong by saying the games will look no different.

@moe050 : I agree you with one thing, misleading trailers, yes, but one shouldn't be even over carried on even changing long time voice actors. David Hayter. Kojima is overdoing it. My opinion.

You did know Naked Snake IS the young Big Boss right? They are one and the same.

This game, just like MGS3, also takes place before he got that name.. The guy in the trailer is not Solidus, it is Naked Snake.

@Dredcrumb9 @Bobolee i love MGS. MGS 4 was the best single player experience i had. Actually i am in the final chapters of MG rising on PC. I dunno why people do not like that game. It is very linear but the gameplay was developed the right way.

Yes, a majority of the community for these games are....well the best way to put it is they are really "non gamers", They play "below" the "average" time, and have very little concentration as compared to someone who learnt all the callouts, or conditioned his/her awareness etc.

If you know halo well, you would know that halo 3 had argumentatively the best ranking system in FPS history + superb multiplayer level design. But it was too hard for a "nongamer" to rank up or get used to the map designs since halo was so unique (even though the maps are symmetrical lol) and they get dismotivated and even ignore social playlists, and the wonderful customs games composed by the amazing community of the halo. So in response Bungie dropped the ranking system and replaced it with the COD type ranking system. The community has gotten much weaker since then, and the average gamer IQ for halo dropped significantly. Halo was almost entirely dropped from MLG.

@Duncanidaho0107 .. MGS is a "movie" ... Splinter Cell is an "Actual" game.. The only true espionage game... MGS 4 is one of the worst games i have eva played to be honest.. And you fanboys call it espionage?? LoL.. Only true gamers can understand this..
