Metal Slug 3 to fire away in May

SNK NeoGeo has announced that Metal Slug 3 will ship in May for the Xbox. The port of the popular arcade shoot-'em-up will also feature Xbox Live leaderboard functionality. The game includes more than 10 new slug vehicles, including the Slug Copter and the Elephant Slug, which has a special trunk-spray weapon. Original missions will also be available as unlockable rewards.

“The Metal Slug franchise has always been a consumer favorite,” said Ben Herman, SNK NeoGeo USA Consumer Corporation President. “Now Xbox owners will be able to compete nationally to see who’s best on this faithful arcade adaptation.”
