Sacnoth's PlayStation 2 RPG is headed to North America courtesy of Midway.
Midway revealed through its financial report that it has secured the North American publishing rights to Shadow Hearts for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game will be released by the end of 2001 in that territory. Developed by Sacnoth, which is comprised of several former SquareSoft employees, the turn-based RPG stars Urmnaf Bort Hyuga, a half Russian, half Japanese man who possesses the power of a Harmonixer, a person able to morph into different creatures. The ultimate quest in the game is to vanquish a powerful magician. Shadow Hearts is already available in Japan.
