Midway announced today its full lineup of games that will be on display at E3 2004, in room #4001 of Petree Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The centerpiece of the publisher's portfolio will be Mortal Kombat: Deception, the newest entry in the beloved and sometimes controversial fighting game series. GameSpot very recently published some extensive hands-on impressions from the game, which takes the series online for the first time. Also in Midway's booth will be a near-final version of Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, which features a hero who wields not only standard weapons, but psychokinetic powers as well.

Area 51, a first-person take on the popular arcade light-gun game, will be on display at E3, as will the arcade baseball sequel MLB Slugfest: Loaded. Rounding out Midway's slate of games are Midway Arcade Treasures Vol. 2, a compilation of classic Midway games, and Shadow Hearts: Covenant, a PlayStation 2-exclusive action adventure game. Midway's full list of E3 games is as follows:

  • Mortal Kombat: Deception (PS2, Xbox)
  • Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy (PS2, Xbox)
  • Area 51 (PS2, Xbox)
  • MLB Slugfest: Loaded (PS2, Xbox)
  • Midway Arcade Treasures Vol. 2 (PS2, Xbox, GC)
  • Shadow Hearts: Covenant (PS2)

Stay tuned to GameSpot for further E3 updates on Midway's games.
