Mindscape Ties the Knot with Red Storm

While it's known that Mindscape Inc., a subsidiary of Pearson plc, is set to distribute titles produced by Tom Clancy's Red Storm Entertainment (the companies signed a long-term strategic agreement with Pearson earlier this month) certain details of the agreement were made public today.

A statement issued Monday says that Mindscape will distribute Red Storm Entertainment titles over the next three years, including the company's first title, Politika, which will be packaged with an original Tom Clancy novel of the same name. The agreement also encompasses cross promotion and distribution deals with Headland Digital Media, Inc., Pearson's newly formed digital publishing company, which will start immediately.

Red Storm's next title, Planet Texas, a futuristic combat rodeo game, is set for release early next year.
