Miyamoto Proves His Point, Eats a Hamburger While Playing Super Mario Run
The benefits of one-handed gaming.
During the Super Mario Run reveal last week, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto emphasized the fact that you could play the game with only one hand. Since Mario runs on his own in the game, you can use your non-playing hand to do any number of things, like eat a hamburger, Miyamoto said on stage.
Now, Nintendo has released a video of Miyamoto actually eating a hamburger while playing Super Mario Run. In the silly video, Miyamoto also does a bicep curl and shakes hands with Nintendo's Bill Trinen while simultaneously guiding Mario through obstacles.

Super Mario Run was announced during the iPhone 7 reveal event last week. An unspecified portion of the game will be available for free, while players can pay a "set purchase price" to access more content. Though pricing has not been confirmed, the game could become a big-time money-maker. One analyst thinks the free game will "easily" reach 1 billion downloads.
Super Mario Run is an auto-runner-style game where Mario moves forward on his own. Players then use a single finger to touch the screen to make him jump to avoid obstacles and enemies. As you'd expect, levels end by touching the screen to make Mario vault into the air to capture the flag pole.
There are other modes, too; read GameSpot's previous coverage to learn more.
