A new gameplay trailer is now available for MLB The Show 21, showcasing some very impressive-looking visuals and teasing the return of MLB legend Roberto Clemente.

The video shows off a number of MLB superstars, including cover star Fernando Tatis Jr., along with numerous different parks and gameplay scenarios. The takeaway here is that MLB The Show 21 is looking very good, and the game promises 4K/60FPS as well which you can see if you have a supported screen. Be sure to stick through the video until the end, as it teases the arrival of the late Roberto Clemente, the Hall of Famer who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

The new video also briefly shows off MLB The Show 21's park-creator mode, which is exclusive to next-gen. As you can see in the video, it allows you to create all different types of parks, even fantastical ones. MLB The Show 21 launches on April 20 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as PS4 and Xbox One, though people who buy a more expensive edition can start playing four days early.

MLB The Show 21 is the first game in the series to be released on Xbox consoles thanks to an expanded agreement between PlayStation Studios and Major League Baseball. A Jackie Robinson edition of the game will be available, and a portion of game sales will go to the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
