MLB The Show 25 Limited Edition Is Up For Preorder, Includes Topps Baseball Card
MLB The Show 25 releases on March 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of MLB The Show, and to celebrate, MLB The Show 25 has three players on its cover for the first time--Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz, and Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson. In addition to being cover athletes, each of these young stars is getting their own MLB The Show Topps Trading Card. MLB The Show fans and baseball card collectors can get one of the trading cards by preordering The Show 25's physical edition ahead of its March 18 release.
Unlike previous years, MLB The Show won't be available on Xbox Game Pass, so Xbox Series X players will need to buy a copy to play at launch. PlayStation says the game won't be on any subscription services in 2025.

MLB The Show 25 Limited Edition
$70
MLB The Show 25's Limited Edition costs the same price as the standard edition normally does--$70 for PS5 and Xbox Series X, $60 for Nintendo Switch--but it comes with five The Show card packs for Diamond Dynasty mode and a pretty enticing physical bonus.
While supplies last, the physical edition includes an exclusive MLB The Show Topps Trading Card featuring one of the three cover athletes: Skenes, De La Cruz, or Henderson. Once the batch of Limited Edition copies sells out--which very well could happen before launch--listings will likely convert to standard edition without the trading card bonus.
Only the PS5 edition is listed as "Limited Edition" at Best Buy and GameStop, but the cases for Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X also show the trading card bonus, so the trading card should be available on all three console platforms.
You can preorder the Limited Edition at Best Buy, Target, and GameStop right now; we'll update this preorder guide once Amazon and Walmart unlocks preorders.
Unlike previous years, PlayStation is not producing a $100 edition with a baseball cap and steelbook case.
You can pick up a digital edition of the game as well, though you won’t get the Topps card. Instead, you’ll get the Gold Choice Pack preorder bonus. Both digital and physical versions also come with 5 The Show Packs.
MLB The Show 25 Digital Editions
You can pick up a digital edition of the game for $70 as well, though you won’t get the Topps card. Instead, you’ll get the Gold Choice Pack preorder bonus. Just like the physical edition, you'll get five The Show card packs.
