MLG heads to San Francisco
City by the Bay is the next stop for console gaming league; competitive games include Halo 2, Super Smash Bros., Street Fighter.
Major League Gaming has announced its second stop on the 2005 MLG Tour. The national console gaming tournament will be gaming in San Francisco February 26 and 27. Participating gamers will play each other for a chance to win cash and a spot at the MLG finals in New York City.
Games scheduled for the San Francisco competition include Bungie's Halo 2 and Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Melee, as well as a special San Francisco-exclusive tournament featuring Street Fighter games with purses of $1,250.
The next scheduled MLG event takes place March 12 in Houston, Texas.
