Monster Hunter Generations Demo Releases This Month
You can get the demo early in the E3 Humble Bundle, along with a bunch of other games and content.
Monster Hunter Generations releases next month, but you'll be able to try out the game before then as a demo releases on the 3DS eShop on June 30. However, you can play the demo right now if you're in Europe or if you pay more than $4 for the E3 2016 Humble Bundle.
The demo offers three main quests, where you hunt the Great Maccao, the Malfestio, and the Nargacuga. You'll be able to hunt them down by yourself or with a friend in local and online multiplayer, and you'll have a selection of 14 weapon types and four Hunting Styles to choose from--you can even play as a cat-like Felyne in Prowler mode.
Some demos on the 3DS have limits on the number of times you can play them. However, there's no cap on the Monster Hunter Generations demo, allowing you to play it as much as you like, Capcom revealed on its blog.
Although the demo's official release is at the end of June, Capcom has told players to watch out for an email from Nintendo. The email contains two demo download codes, which means you can share one with a friend.
Capcom also detailed save data transfer bonuses for the final game. When you transfer save data from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to Generations, you'll receive bonus items like armor for your Felynes.
Monster Hunter Generations releases for 3DS on July 15.
