Monsters At Work: Watch The First Teaser For The Disney Plus Monsters Inc. Show

The first teaser for Monsters At Work has been released. The Monsters Inc. spin-off show hits Disney+ on July 2.

The teaser is short but gives us a good idea of what to expect from the series. It starts with Mike and Sully, the main characters from the two movies, being given a senior role at Monsters Incorporated by Roz. But it seems that the focus of the business has now been put into making people laugh rather than scaring them.

We also meet some of the new characters, who work for MIFT--the Monsters Inc. Facilities team--which works to maintain the company's tech, with predictably chaotic results. Check the teaser out below:

The voicecast for Monsters At Work includes Billy Crystal and John Goodman, reprising their roles of Mike and Sully, plus Ben Feldman as Tylor Tuskmon, Henry Winkler as Fritz, Mindy Kaling as Val Little, Alanna Ubach as Cutter, and Lucas Neff as Duncan.

Monsters Inc. was Pixar's fourth feature, and it hit theaters in November 2001. It grossed more than $577 million at the worldwide box office. It was followed by Monsters University in 2013, which was an even bigger hit, making $743 million worldwide.
