Following an initial wave of classic Star Wars PC games launched for GOG.com this week, the digital distribution platform run by The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red on Thursday released even more, and announced plans to bolster its lineup further still.

The second wave of classic Star Wars games available now are listed below. As with all GOG games (and now movies, too), they do not feature any form of DRM.

A third wave, which will be available on January 27, is set to include the following titles:

You can visit GOG's dedicated LucasArts page to see all the Star Wars games, along with Monkey Island and Indiana Jones titles, that the site has to offer.

GOG.com turned six years-old in September last year. For more on the site's evolution, check out GameSpot's interview with managing director Guillaume Rambourg.

Immediately bought Rebellion and Battlefront II... I have about 30% of GOG's library at this point; I'm wondering when that "shelf" interface is going to crash my browser. :)

And BTW, a *LOT* of those GOG ports work perfectly fine on Android under DOSbox Turbo... Old RPGs & strategy games on long flights FTW!

If only other services could follow GOG's example. Unfortunately, the suits aren't putting their games on the service, because they're afraid in their fortress without DRM.

It's pretty amazing how well most of the classic SW games have aged. I never played X-Wing or Rebellion back in the day and all of a sudden I'm playing them more than multi-gig games like Far Cry 4.

One of my fondest memories in my gaming life was putting together the Rebel fleet for the assault on Courascant in Rebellion. Dozens and dozens of individually named ships, countless fighters, all being led by Admiral Solo on a Bulwark Battlecruiser named the Indiana Jones (I was young). What made it more epic was that the main Imp fleet was there, with the Emperor on the flagship. Even though the graphics were pretty crap it was a hell of a fight, ships going up in pixel flames, status reports rolling in, yelling when Commander Lando's Mon Cal blew up. And while this was going on I was humming the SW soundtrack and getting really into it. Good times.

Oh hell I'm going to pick it up from GOG. I wonder if theres mod support for it....

Rebellion for the win! I don't know about that Empire at War thing. It's something of a sequel to Rebellion and it sounds like there are a bunch of good mods. Well, Rebellion is first.

Wow. GoG is really hitting the spot with these releases. I've been hoping for some Dark Forces II love on new OSes for a good while now. Hopefully it will be the complete JK and MotS.

Just need Shadows of the Empire now and I'll be rather content with modern support of old Star Wars games. They've nearly covered them all now.

While I'm happy with my working N64 copy of Rogue Squadron, glad to see it on a DD service. But I wonder about Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike (which were both GameCube exclusive and never released on PC unlike the first game).

Aw look the vocal minority of people who still hate Steam after 12 years is out and about acting like Valve is the devil. Yea, they've done more for DRM than anyone ever, and its irrelevant because Steam is better than the old days of installed games with no unified interface, achievements, community, launcher, patching, mods, or support of any kind.

Mention GameSpy Arcade or Mplayer. Please do it, one of you morons is going to.

I'm sure you'll be happy "owning" your disc when it becomes literally unplayable in the future without some sort of support.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Mplayer for its time was great. So many fond memories of playing Quake on it. It was a hell of a lot better for multiplayer than Quake by itself which had no server-browser interface what so ever beyond manually typing in a server and connecting to it.

I cannot throw my money at the monitor fast enough!!!

Also, Star Wars: Rebellion was brutally tough for it's time and that turned a lot of people off. But once you really got deep into it, it was a great strategy game.

Whoever was able to pull this coup off at GoG deserves a raise and promotion!

<< LINK REMOVED >> I agree with you about SW:R, once you get the hang of it was truly one of a kind SW game. One of my fondest memories was invading Courascant as the Rebels with every ship and regiment I had and smacking down the main Imp fleet. But it was brutal, fun fact: It wasn't until years later did I realize you could hit ctrl to set agents as decoys and have them do jedi training. Lost hundreds of infiltrators and the chance to have a Jedi Master Wedge or Sith Knight Thrawn because it was never explained. Oops.

Cool. The more the merrier. I still can't believe Doom isn't GOG, though. Or any of id's games prior to Rage for that matter. All of them had their DRM removed within the patches, so it would only make sense.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Open-source Doom is so popular right now that it almost doesn't make sense to sell the originals anymore.

Besides, they now have Dark Forces, which was a huge improvement over Doom and still fun to this day.

I like DRM if it leads to a solidified gaming experience on PC. Steam.

As opposed to a mess of where your games end up.

There's nothing "solidified" about Steam. Valve is cool with letting other publishers include additional DRM, so you might end up with DRM on top of DRM. They have almost no quality control whatsoever and have been known to sell broken games to people without even offering refunds. Their customer support is super slow and at times incompetent. Valve and Steam get way too much praise.

This is great! Personally, I own most of these games already, so these sales do nothing for me, but it is nice to see both classic Star Wars games being released and GOG increasing its library. Republic Commando specifically is an extremely underrated game.

GOG > Steam, once again. DRM free gaming needs to be supported whenever possible.

Fatty, on the other hand, can go choke on some Steam cooked spare ribs

Rogue Squadron, now that's what I'm talking about baby. Wish Nintendo would make a new Rogue Squadron for Wii U or 3DS game.

The gamecube version Rogue Leader still holding up today's standards to the original SW movies.
