More Than 4,000 Games Are Discounted In New PC Sale

The Lunar New Year isn't officially until this Friday, February 12, but PC games storefront Fanatical has kicked off the festivities early with a new sale featuring thousands of game deals, most of which can be redeemed on Steam. In addition to steeply discounted prices on great games such as A Plague Tale: Innocence and The Jackbox Party Pack 7, you'll also get rewarded the more you spend. For every $10 you spend during the Lunar New Year sale, you'll receive a free game or coupon to use on future purchases.

The Yakuza franchise is prominently featured in the Lunar New Year sale. Yakuza: Like a Dragon - Day Ichi edition is slashed to $53.88, which is a nice little discount on one of our favorite games of 2020. You can also grab The Yakuza Remastered Collection for $32.94, Yakuza Kiwami for $16.88, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 for $26.88.

A pair of games published by Focus Home Interactive that deserve far more attention are discounted to fantastic prices. A Plague Tale: Innocence, the wonderful 2019 adventure game set during the Hundred Years' War, is only $12.59. A Plague Tale offers a gripping story, unforgettable atmosphere, and well-balanced stealth gameplay. The other notable deal is Othercide, a tactical RPG with a moving story, a deep combat system, and a beautiful world. Othercide is on sale for $19.24. It earned an 8/10 in our Othercide review.

If you're looking for some bang for your buck, Fanatical also has some solid game bundles available for cheap. The Staff Picks bundle comes with 10 games for $3.49, including Brawlout, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, and XIII. The Indie Multiplayer bundle is worth the $2.49 price for Death Squared alone, but it also comes with six more games.

Other solid deals in the Lunar New Year sale include Kingdom Come: Deliverance for $12, The Jackbox Party Pack 7 for $21, and Metro Exodus' Gold edition for $20.79. Also, you can still save on your preorder for Persona 5 Strikers ahead of its release later this month. The standard edition is discounted to $49.19, and the Deluxe edition, which comes with four days early access, is $57.39.
