Microsoft has announced the next wave of Xbox Game Pass titles coming to the catalog in July, and two of the games are available today, July 20. The company also confirmed which titles are leaving Xbox Game Pass in July. Read on to find out everything you need to know.

Some of the new additions for Xbox Game Pass in the second half of July include Battlefield V on cloud through EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which is available today, July 20, alongside Cris Tales on console, cloud, and PC (which is a day-one launch). Perhaps the most notable new release of the month is Microsoft Flight Simulator, which launches for Xbox Series X|S on July 27.

Other notable new additions for July include Blinx and Crimson Skies, which have achieved a level of cult classic stature and are part of the ongoing Xbox 20th anniversary celebration.

I was looking forward to playing Flight Sim on xCloud but it's not listed, bummer. Don't own a gaming PC or Xbox.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 and The Medium did not come out to GAME PASS in July though. What do I know though. Its not like Gamespot is reading these comments anyways.

@thevaultman: Those were released as playable on cloud in July. It's annoying how they word it.

@johnny0779: It is amazing. You have over 500+ more games and tons of titles to choose from at half the price. What are you smoking?

@Utnayan: at half the price for a reason....NO DAY 1 RELEASES.

On GamePass this month alone it would provide OVER $500.00 dollars worth of gaming value.

$500.00 you would have to spend on PlayStation just to try them...lol

So once again...Why can't PSNow be as great as Xbox GamePass?

@thecupidstunts: I wonder if it is worth to play FS with an XBox controller instead of a specialized (and expensive) setup. I mean, it's a (¿hardcore?) simulator of real cockpits, not an arcade game.

@hjroman: for those of us who don't have a fancy setup and just played it with mouse and keyboard, I'm looking forward to using my Xbox x and controller. much better than a mouse.

@hjroman: It's perfectly playable on an XBOX pad. Trim controls aren't as easy to use, but that's more a hardcore setting and not necessary for casual flight.

@hjroman: I see what you're saying. But the game has so many options that it doesn't have to be hardcore if you don't want it to be.

Personally, I have quite a few functions automated so I can just zen out on the gorgeous graphics, and enjoy the geography. Occasionally I'll turn off aids, but the simulation aspect isn't where it's at for me.

@thecupidstunts: Looks like a fun game so I'll definitely try that out. Haven't played a flight sim from Microsoft in ages so hopefully it's good.

Glad i finished UnderMine before it left GP.

I will be pretty busy playing games it seems, didnt expected to pick 3 games this time(CrisTales,The Ascend and DeathsDoor).

Also, some nostalgia with Crimson Skies...i really hope the data shows interest in this game as a sequel is what many of us waited for a very long time.

@sladakrobot: Been wanting a sequel to Crimson Skies for years now. Love that game and the concept is just too good not to have a sequel. I know the devs from FASA after they closed went on to work on Dark Void which kinda sorta felt like a spiritual sequel but it just wasn't the same. I did like the Rocketeer like rocket pack stuff though.
