MotoGP 2 details
THQ releases the first gameplay information on its motorcycle racing sequel for the Xbox. New screens inside.
THQ has today released details on some of the features that will be appearing in MotoGP 2, Climax's sequel to the motorcycle racing game that's currently enjoying a resurge in popularity thanks to its compatibility with Xbox Live. Unsurprisingly, MotoGP 2 will also be playable online, and it will feature eight different modes of play, including stunt, GP, time trial, training challenges, tag, Live, multiplayer, and single race.
Up to four players will be able to compete on a single screen, while up to 16 players will be able to race simultaneously on Xbox Live. All the 500cc bikes and riders from the 2002 season and 16 real-world tracks will be featured in the game, although players will also have the option to customize their own bikes and leathers.
No release date for MotoGP 2 has been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, you might like to check out our full review of MotoGP, which was released in May last year.
