MotoGP 2 E3 2003 Preshow Report
Climax Studios' motorcycle racing sequel for the Xbox and PC will be on hand at this year's E3.
THQ will have Climax Studios' racing sequel MotoGP 2 for PC and Xbox at E3 2003 this year. The sequel will feature an updated roster of professional racers and full Xbox Live multiplayer support for the Xbox version.
MotoGP 2 will let you race on one of 16 tracks modeled after real-world locations. The Xbox version of the game will support Xbox Live multiplayer play for up to 16 players at once, though the game will also support four-player split-screen play as well. MotoGP 2 will feature an updated roster of all the professional riders from the 2002 MotoGP circuit, as well as all of the real-world 500cc bikes used in the races.
The game will feature a total of eight different racing modes, including standard single-player and head-to-head races, as well as time trials and stunt courses. Climax will attempt to keep the game's control scheme as intuitive as possible, while affording veteran racing fans enough control over their bikes. MotoGP 2 will be released for the PC and the Xbox later this year.
