On Tuesday, Namco announced that it will distribute Java-based games for KDDI's cell phone Web browser EZweb. Beginning this month, Namco's flagship titles such as Pac-Man and Galaxian, as well as an original puzzle game called Chain Shot and an original typing action game called Tekken Command Battle, will be available.

Tekken Command Battle can be played alone or with another player. In the style of command-based combat, players choose from three basic commands: attack, parry, and throw. After making a selection, words will appear on the screen, and players must then type their word correctly. The speed of typing and the opponent's command will determine the damage. Naturally, the first player to run out of hit points wins the duel.

The four titles will be a part of the new Namco EZ Carrot service, which will carry a fee of 300 yen per month (about $2.40).
