NBA 2K17 Will Feature Australian Boomers, Second Ever National Team to Appear in the Series

2K Games has announced that its upcoming NBA 2K17 will include the Australian Boomers in its playable roster. This marks the second time ever for a national team to be part of roster in the NBA 2K series, with the first being Team USA.

The lineup includes the following Australian players from leagues around the world, including the NBA, Australia and Europe:

  • Cameron Bairstow
  • Aron Baynes
  • Andrew Bogut
  • Ryan Broekhoff
  • Matthew Dellavedova
  • Dante Exum
  • Chris Goulding
  • Joe Ingles
  • Kevin Lisch
  • Damian Martin
  • Patrick Mills
  • Brock Motum

NBA 2K17 will be released in September for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. This year's cover will feature Paul George, a three-time NBA all-star who also played for Team USA. George isn't the only cover athlete for NBA 2K17. 2K Sports is honouring NBA icon Kobe Bryant, who retired this year, with an $80 "Legend Edition." This edition includes an assortment of both physical and digital items; you can see everything that is in it here.
