NBA Ballers hoops it up on the Web

Midway has launched the official Web site for its upcoming one-on-one hoops game, NBA Ballers. The site features screenshots and videos from the game and allows fans to sample music from the game's soundtrack, including cuts by MC Supernatural and A Tribe Called Quest alum Phife Dawg. NBA Ballers features 84 NBA stars, 60 of whom are current players, such as Cleveland Cavaliers rookie sensation LeBron James, LA Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, and New York Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury (who is also the cover athelete for Ballers). The other 24 players are NBA legends, including Larry Bird, Julius "Dr. J" Irving, and Earvin "Magic" Johnson. The game is currently slated for release this spring on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 platforms.
