Necromania lurches onto PC
Strategy First's new dungeon-crawling game puts players in the boots of evil.
The evil-twinged PC strategy game Necromania: Traps of Darkness has shipped to retail stores, according to publisher Strategy First. The game is rated M for Mature and will cost $19.99. Players must plumb the depths of a cavernous labyrinth as a beastmaster, a stone golem, an orcish sleuth, a knight, a fog woman, a magician, or a skeleton warrior. Necromania supports up to eight players via LAN and features role-playing-like character evolution. Cinemax, the game's developer, is composed of Czechoslovakian programmers, some of whom worked on Operation Flashpoint. Necromania is the first game from Cinemax.
