Neo Geo Pocket Gets Cheaper

SNK of America announced Wednesday that the Neo Geo Pocket Color will be priced US$10 lower than previously expected. The new 16-bit handheld gaming system will be available for a price of $69.95. Individual games will range from $24.95 to $34.95.

"By offering the Neo Geo Pocket Color to gamers for $69.95 when it debuts on our Web site next month, we're giving gamers just a small glimpse of the strong commitment we intend to provide for our next-generation handheld system," Stacey Sujishi, SNK's director of marketing, said.

The Neo Geo Pocket Color will be available in the US on SNK of America's web site starting June 1.
