The science fiction films of the 1980s were filled with iconic imagery that still resonates with fans today. It makes sense, then, that Nerf saw fit to bring one of the most memorable guns in cinema to life: The Armat M41-A Pulse Blaster, used by the Colonial Marine Corps in Ridley Scott's 1986 film Aliens.

"Celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic Aliens film with the Nerf Lmtd M41-A Pulse Blaster, capturing authentic details inspired by the equipment of the film's Colonial Marine Corps," reads the official description for the weapon. The Pulse Blaster is a bit different from its cinematic counterpart, swapping out beige and gunmetal colors for yellow and light-gray styling that calls to mind the bright yellow Power Loader that Ripley uses against the Xenomorph in the film.

The blaster is 28 inches long and comes pre-assembled in themed packaging designed for display. You can fire single Mega dart shots with the blaster's pump-action loader or go hot and fire from the 10-round clip in fully-motorized Elite mode. Perhaps most important though, is that along with movie-accurate sound effects, the blaster features an electronic dart counter so that you can feel the full terror of running out of ammo while Xenomorphs loom ever closer. Acid-blooded aliens are not included in the package, however, so you'll have to supply those.

The M41-A Pulse Blaster is up for pre-order right now, and is expected to ship in October 2022, and you can snag one for $94.99.

In the meantime, you can get your Aliens fix with news about the upcoming Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which features its own film-authentic M41-A Pulse Rifle and releases on August 24, 2021, go back to Alien: Isolation, or find out what the actual United States government has to say about evidence of aliens.

You mean James Cameron. Ridley Scott didn't make Aliens, he made Alien. What zoomer wrote this article who knows nothing of the Aliens series?

@vega2505: In his defense, Alien is an old as hell series.

Think about it, Alien first came out when Jimmy Carter was in office. Jimmy Carter! If I asked anybody between the ages of 1 and 40 who Jimmy Carter is. There is a 0.004% they will know who he is. 0.0008% chance they will actually remember what he did.

@illegal_peanut: Bah, that's no excuse. Fans know. Clearly it was a dumb mistake. That's the gist, know who you're talking to.
