NES Remix gets a sequel on Wii U, includes even more retro Nintendo hits
Super Mario Bros. 3, Metroid, Kirby, and more make an appearance in this follow-up to Nintendo's retro-themed game mash up.

Last year's surprise mash-up of classic Nintendo games, NES Remix, is getting a sequel. Announced today, today during the Nintendo Direct presentation, NES Remix 2 will feature games from later in the system's life. According to the presentation, you can expect to see:
- Ice Hockey
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Super Mario Bros. 2 (American version -- known as Doki Doki Panic in Japan)
- Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japanese version)
- Kirby Adventure
- Metroid
- Wario's Woods
- The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link
- Dr. Mario
- Kid Icarus
- NES Open Tournament Golf
- Punch-Out!!
The game will also include a full version of a minigame featured in the original Remix where you control Luigi as you travel backwards through the original Super Mario Bros. game. Dubbed Super Luigi Bros., this take on Nintendo's classic platformer offers a new and disconcerting way to experience a game you're probably intimately familiar with.
