Netflix Anime: Aggretsuko Season 2 Coming 2019

During its Anime Expo 2018 panel, Netflix announced that its original anime Aggretsuko will be getting a second season. An Aggretsuko mascot came on stage to debut the teaser trailer, which featured plenty of the beloved red panda's death metal singing; watch it below. The season will arrive on Netflix in 2019.

The first season of Aggretsuko premiered on Netflix earlier this year. It consists of 10 15-minute episodes; Netflix has not yet said if the second season will be the same length or not. The first season ended on a bit of a cliffhanger (or at the very least left viewers with a lot of questions), so it will be interesting to see how the second season tackles Retsuko's story further.

The character Aggretsuko is made by Sanrio, the Japanese company best known for Hello Kitty and other cute mascot characters. Writer/director Rarecho is returning for Season 2. In other anime news, Netflix also confirmed that Castlevania Season 2 will be releasing on Netflix in October. It will be eight episodes.
