For anyone confused about the 150 3ds, the xl does not have changeable plates which means this must be the standard one. The screen is still larger than the original 3ds' though.

So this New 3DS XL has a game installed and 2 face plates. Hopefully the old versions get discounted too. I'd be all over this version, if I didn't already have 3D Land. Or a different game may get a Black Friday release. Either way $150 is a good deal. Wind Waker HD for $20 is a freaking steal.

Is it just a standard 3DS or still XL model? I personally prefer the smaller model so if it's that I might upgrade.

Man I love those amiibo bundle boxes. I'm tempted to rebuy Captain Toad just for that box. Either way I doubt I'll be able to resist the yoshi and mario party bundles. But the real question will be Peach or Bowser?

Great work with the classics. Lego City, Pikmin 3, Mario Party, Yoshi, 3D World too? You can build a great library of essential Wii U games at a great value. Just pick up a refurb from Nintendo, and you can load up on a good little library of games.

Are Target and Walmart doing pre-orders for the new system bundle? Do they even do pre-orders or do I just go there on the 26th?

@shinkazama: Don't ever pre-order at Wal-Mart. It's not even a pre-order, it's just a gift card anyways. Honestly. I've lost over 200 dollars on them lying and saying my gift cards are not even activated.....

Congrats, you lowered the prices on games that are at least 2 years old. Better late than never I guess.

And why is Mario Kart 8 STILL $60 on Gamestop and even the official site?

@xenomorphalien: The ones getting price dropped are older. Plus, Mario Kart 8 goes on sale all the time, I bought it for $35 brand new 2 years ago.

@xenomorphalien: Because of the WiiU's poor sales deals, some very good deals, have popped up many times, but they are usually retailer discounts (trying to get rid of stuff) not official price cuts from Nintendo. Oddly many of the best deals were during the first year or so of the console's life, probably due to massive overstocking.

Still there are deals, keep your on eye on those forums where people post deals.

Yay Luigi's Mansion finally on sale. I'll be picking that one up for sure.

Wind Waker HD for $20 is a great deal too, it can be hard to find cheap these days.

Wooooo Dark Moon. I wish Majora's mask would go on sale. I still have my N64 cartridge, so the upgrade is still kind of hard to justify for $44.

I've been looking for a copy of Lego City Undercover for ages for a friend of mine, because i enjoyed it so much. The price has been jacked up to near $70 and I finally found one for retail and now this! Dastardly!

Fire Emblem Fates can easily benefit from the price drop I mean I got no issues as I bought all of the paths but others simply think the game is like a microtransaction and forces you to get all three of them when you really don't need to.

This pisses me off. I just bought Dark Moon. This is the second time nintendo price drops a super old game right after I buy it. Over here feeling like nintendo just waits for me to finally buy a game and then does something it never does by cutting the price.

This is great for those who are on the fence though...I am excited for you.

No Wii U price drop? Madness... absolute madness. Console is absolutely dead, they're poised to release the successor in 6 months and nothing is known about it, but the fact they're not even attempting to shift units for this makes me think production might be so massively wound down that they don't even need to.

@Frogster8: I think they aren't bothering because the timing isn't quite right, and/or it probably wouldn't help much anyway. They've MAYBE :) finally accepted that all those casuals out there won't buy a WiiU regardless of a price drop, or if they do that will stop them from buying an NX. Anyone who is a Nintendo fan, most of them already have a WiiU. Any other gamer types on the fence are probably well informed, enough to wait for the NX reveal first.

@Frogster8: Thts not how Nintendo works, they don't price drop what don't sell, that would make no sense, they like to price drop hot items as a reward to gamers for the games selling so well. Nintendo done made their money, now they can afford to drop price.

Maybe you should drop Star Fox's price too, because no one's paying full price for that.

@acharis_frost: And controls so bad they ruin the game. And disgusting ground missions. So it's just Star Fox 64 but worse in every way.
