New 2TB Xbox One Hard Drive Revealed
$110 hard drive from Microsoft and Seagate announced; get the first details here.
Today at Gamescom, Microsoft and Seagate announced a partnership for a new 2TB external hard drive made specifically for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The USB 3.0 hard drive, which will cost $110 when it launches later this year (a specific release date was not announced), matches the traditional green and black Xbox color scheme. You'll be able to buy it at GameStop and Amazon, among other retailers.
Microsoft's new Xbox One model comes with a 1TB hard drive, but even that larger size (the original model was 500GB) can fill up quickly, considering games today are usually around 35-50GB.
