New $300 PS Vita bundle revealed

$300 and only a 4GB memory card? Man Sony is ****ed up, at least provide a 16GB.

This deal is a total ripoff, if it was 2 games of your choice and a 16gb plus the 3G Wifi model, that would be worth it. 3G is a scam because it's only available with AT&T. No wonder Sony's credit rating is junk.

You will need way more than a 4GB memory card. That's only about 3 full retail titles.

I love SONY and the Playstation brand. I'm a PS3/PSP owner and a PS plus subscriber, I think their products and games are awesome...I also want a VITA bad, BUT the price is still too high for a handheld. Especially the memory cards.

When I can get a VITA for $199.99 WITH at the very least an 8GB memory card and a game or PS PLUS card, I'll bite. 4GB is just not enough.

The Assassin's Creed Bundle is the best bundle, it comes with an actual game (not a voucher) and 4GB mem for just 249$, and if that's not enough the Vita is a beautiful limited white color. Who want 3G anyway?

it comes with unit 13 but puts gravity rush on the box cover... I wonder why...

@buccomatic no, it's the same price it was before. the 3G version was always 299.99, only now it's bundled with a year of PS+ and Unit 13. I know you've buried your head in the sand as far as the vita goes but there are lots of games for it now and sold 160k units in the US on black friday.

Bundle might be worth it if they had a bigger sized memory card. Since right now that bundle is a joke due to that measly 4gb. Other then that rest of the package seems decent.

Terrible, terrible bundle. A Unit 13 voucher? SERIOUSLY? And the 4GB memory card has GOT TO GO! It's a waste. Add a 32GB for $50 LESS and MAYBE we'll talk.

Why the 3G Model? Make it WI-Fi and drop it 30$-50$ bucks and you got a freaking deal.

That's not very much memory. If people buy that they might as well get some memory cards.

Hmm, not bad. But it's too bad people will need to also buy an overpriced memory card if they intend on taking advantage of the games PS+ has to offer.

Eh, gonna be honest, I don't think this is a very good bundle. The vita, 1 year of plus and unit 13 voucher might be worth it, but most people don't want the 3G model and 4 GB memory card is a total joke. For $300 you should get a wifi Vita, 1 year of plus, and a 16 GB memory card.

This bundle seems quite good, add playstation all stars to it and it'll be a must buy for me and I might get a Vita finally

I got a PSVita for $180 a few days ago, it came with AC, a 4gig memory card, PSAllstars....that seems about right for me, as I don't handheld game much.

Make it $249 and people may actually buy it.

I like the fact that Sony is trying hard to prove that with ps plus you get more than what you pay (and its actually true). Too bad I dont really see the need of getting a ps vita for now... well, at least for me.

the whole memory card situation with the Vita is a joke... i love the system and all, but the prices on their proprietary cards leaves a bad taste in my mouth... any company putting out consoles now banking on digital downloads is only interested in the money when they fail to do a better job in terms of system memory...

No new Dissidia, no buy. Dissidia and MGSPW are what made PSP worth buying.

Ya, looks like they'll need to offer more memory along with this bundle to make it worth most people's while.

Toss in Persona 4 Golden, And MGS HD collection and Exchange the 4 Gb memory card for a 32, i would be happy to pay another 100

i am happy with my white assassins creed 3 bundle. in my opinion sony is destroying this console and the only worthy games are downloadable ones. the minute i powered my console last friday, i got a psn tag and downloaded retro city rampage and plan on downloading some psp games tomorrow.

sony, fix this system. it is too good to treat like garbage.

I have no faith in Sony to make the most of this console... So I'll wait a few years and maybe then there will be enough reasons to buy it.

Hmm. While it may seem like great savings overall and I appreciate they want to bundle things instead of dropping the price, I think Sony might be missing the point that people don't really have a spare $300 rolling around in their bank accounts.

4GB is not enough if you're into digital content. I blame proprietary storage.

I'm not sure how they could bundle a 4GB card and give people access to a year of PS plus....that card won't hold up within even the first week of having PS plus. Should be a 16GB imo.

Impressive. The Vita deserves the very best out there. It's a platform with incredible potential.

4GB isn't terrible if, like me, you plan on buying actual cartridges for all your Vita games. But if, like me, you bought the Vita with the express intent of playing lots of PSP games you never got to play, you'll find yourself running out of room fast (Ogre Tactics is 1.1 GB)

I love my new Vita but damn I wish the memory cards weren't so expensive ($86 for 32GB....?)
