New Adventure Time game launching in 2013
A new Adventure Time instalment is slated for release in Q3 2013 on current-gen consoles.
D3Publisher and Cartoon Network have announced plans to release a new Adventure Time game this year.
Following the success of Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!, show creator Pendleton Ward will once again team up with developer WayForward to work on Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know!
The new game will make its debut on the Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. A handheld version is also in the works for Nintendo's 3DS.
The upcoming game will allow players to help save the Candy Kingdom and explore the mysteries of the massive Secret Royal Dungeon deep below the Land of Ooo. The action-adventure game is set to feature fan-favourite characters from the show, and include four-player cooperative multiplayer.
In addition to the new Adventure Time instalment, Ben 10 Omniverse 2 and Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land games are also slated for release in Q3 2013.
