New Assassin's Creed Game's Screenshot And Name Reportedly Leaked

The only thing that will make come back to this series is Assasins Creed Japan made in collabration with Platinum games.

for me Blag flag is my favorite of the series..

I think the free running and combat is loads better in the newer games a lot more fluid which is great (But could still be improved upon) - think they now really need to focus on a great story and have a little bit more going on in the world ... just being able to climb up things can get a little old !

It's great fun and full of nostalgia. AC 2 is still the best AC game even though it does feel dated. I think it's because it was a massive improvement over the First one

Exactly what we need, another installment of an already dull and played out series. Good job Ubisoft.

Nope. More iteration, not innovation, so nope nope nope nope nope.

Apparently the game is going to go into the original assassin’s guild and has both a male and female main character. The game was compared to Skyrim and apparently focuses on being as non-linear as possible, with naval combat and the ability to sail the Mediterranean. This would make more since then just being set in Ancient Egypt given the name Assassins Creed Empire. Give me a ship and old world Mediterranean Sea and I will be set!

I am definitely excited for Assassins Creed again.

Hmm, it has my attention. That being said, I was a big fan of Black Flag, though I don't like much of the series. Hopefully the added development time will improve the quality of the game.

If this turns out to be as shallow as all the other Assassin's Creed games - it's a pass. They all first felt like there's a shit ton of stuff to do, but it gets repetitive way too fast.

That's an original and inspired name.

I'm sure the game will be ok and look amazing. But considering we all know there is zero point to the story of any game in this series...what could they possibly bring that is new to the table at this point. The series lost all steam once they came out and admitted they have no real story/point. A prequel? Why? Who cares at this point?

At least they've taken a break, I think they would do well in trying to add something new to the combat to keep the game fresher and hopefully, they looked at the success of Black Flag before making this one they're working on.

So new AC game is not sequal to other games . AC games story hasn't been good since 3 ended. I will get this one . But if story still not any good they should end it .

Unfortunately ubisoft has destroyed the franchise trying to force out a new entry every year. I will stear clear of this one for sure

Graphics in this screenshot is on par with Far Cry 3.

As much as I enjoy the "historical" aspects of the franchise, gameplay's never been very good or challenging. Sad to see how the great Prince of Persia series evolved into this.

I think gamespot needs to lookup definitions of 'leaked' and 'released'.

More ubishit games. Do yourself a favor and quit hyping garbage. They didn't take a year off to develop a better game. They took a year off because some idiot thought it was IP fatigue and not lack luster garbage since black flag. And I would be excited to explore Egypt, but their works building is nothing like tomb raider which would be made to explore tombs and solve puzzles. You climb crap and don't explore anything. It's just skyboxes, garbage combat, and check the box uninspired POI's. But hey, welcome to Egypt with a pyramid skyboxes. These people haven't been relevant since 2002.

I'm ready for a new AC. Syndicate was one of the best games of 2015 and the best the series has ever been.

Quite simply, not interested if Ubi maintains their current combat gameplay with the health bars and hacking and slashing without its signature chaining combat from Rogue, Black Flag, and the games before. You talk about Unity being maligned because of technical issues? Please, that was when Ubi decided to ditch one of the most important aspects of AC franchise: the chaining combo combat. Sure, Unity, Syndicate had ways to combo, but Ubi shat on combat in my opinion and made it a hack-and-slash vs. health bars.

Old world history for life. Can't wait to play this game. I have played all the assassin creed games and enjoyed them. I really like the history aspect and I do take the time to read about the people, buildings, and time periods. From the way people dress and the music you hear it is all researched and put into the game which is nice to see. Anyways I think this next installment will be great in Eygpt. I predict it comes out this year and will launch along side Scorpio. Here's how I would rank AC games

I'm happy to give Ubisoft another chance. There's just something about AC games.
