New Bridge Commander Screens
Activision releases new screenshots from its upcoming Star Trek space combat simulation.
Activision has released new screenshots from its upcoming space combat simulation Star Trek: Bridge Commander. The game uses the NetImmerse 3D engine and is designed to capture the feeling of the Star Trek: The Next Generation television series. Players command a powerful starship from the captain's chair, eventually graduating from the Galaxy-class ship to the more powerful Sovereign-class ship. The pace of the combat is less frantic than most other space combat simulations, better reflecting the larger size and slower maneuverability of the capital ships.
Star Trek: Bridge Commander is scheduled for release in Q2 2001.
